Kentucky Office of Financial Institutions

Request a Speaker

The Office of Financial Institutions (OFI) is fortunate to have several staff members who are willing to share their knowledge of the financial institutions industries OFI regulates. If your interest is banks, trust companies, investments, financial planning or consumer awareness, or if you would like your audience to hear about our agency, e-mail Kelly May or call 800-223-2579, ext. 252.

Classroom Speakers Available

OFI has personnel available to make in-school presentations regarding investing, saving, budgeting, lending, credit cards, financial fraud and other personal finance issues. We understand that knowledge provides the best defense against financial fraud, and educated Kentucky consumers will make wise life-long financial decisions. Classroom presentations are usually based on the Money Smart series and “The Basics of Saving and Investing: Investor Education 2020” curriculum. If you would like a free copy of the teaching guide, or to schedule a guest speaker for your class, contact Kelly May by e-mail or phone at 800-223-2579, ext. 252.

Adult Financial Education Presentations

For more information on financial literacy and fraud prevention presentations available to groups of all ages, please visit OFI's Educational Outreach Web page. Presentations cover investor topics or other financial literacy topics.

NOTE: All presentations and educational materials given to attendees free of charge.
